The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is set to declare the results for Class 5 and Class 8 examinations in the first week of April 2026. More than 2.9 lakh students participated in the Class 8 exams conducted from February 17 to February 27, while Class 5 exams were held from February 7 to February 27. Students can check their results on the official website, pseb.ac.in, using their registration or roll number and date of birth. In case of heavy traffic on the website, results can also be accessed via SMS by sending their roll number to 5676750. The grading system for Class 8 ranges from A+ for scores between 91% to 100% down to D for scores of 40% or below. Students must achieve at least 33% in each subject to pass. Those who do not pass one or two subjects will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams, which are expected to take place in May or June, with results anticipated in August. The pass percentage for Class 8 has consistently remained above 97%, with girls generally outperforming boys in recent years.
