Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released its e-prospectus for the 2026-27 academic session, outlining the admission process for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. Admissions for UG courses, including BA (Hons) in foreign languages and BSc in Ayurveda Biology, will be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026). Candidates must apply separately on JNU's portal after the CUET results are announced. The university will establish program-wise cut-off marks based on factors like candidate numbers and seat availability. For BTech programs, including Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), admission will rely on JEE Main scores, with seat allocation managed through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). For postgraduate admissions, courses such as MA, MSc, and MTech will utilize the Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate (CUET PG 2026), while specific programs like MSc Biotechnology will require the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology scores. Additionally, JNU is accepting applications for its MBA program for the 2026-28 session, with a registration deadline of March 31. The application fee is ₹2,000 (approximately $24 USD) for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and ₹1,000 (approximately $12 USD) for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Admission to the MBA program will be based on Common Admission Test (CAT) scores, which will account for 70% of the selection criteria.
