A drone attack on Sunday targeted Kuwait's Shuwaikh oil sector complex, which includes the oil ministry and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) headquarters. The attack led to a fire that caused significant material damage but fortunately resulted in no casualties. Emergency teams were promptly dispatched to control the blaze and secure the area. In addition to the oil complex, two power generation units were taken offline due to damage from Iranian drones that also targeted water desalination facilities. The Iranian military reportedly used Arash-2 drones in these strikes, which they described as retaliatory actions against assets linked to the US-Israeli alliance. Kuwait's military confirmed that its air defenses were actively intercepting incoming threats, with explosions heard across the country attributed to these defensive measures. This incident marks a continuation of heightened tensions in the region as the US-Israeli conflict with Iran enters its sixth week, raising concerns about disruptions to global supply chains and regional stability.
