The law prohibits the possession, sale, and use of e-cigarettes and related products, with severe penalties for violations. Tourists caught with vaping devices can have them confiscated and face fines or even imprisonment for up to five years, especially if suspected of importing or distributing these items. Enforcement has intensified, with authorities conducting crackdowns and inspections in public spaces. To avoid legal trouble, travelers to Thailand are advised not to carry any vaping products and to consider legal alternatives for nicotine consumption.
