During a press conference on April 6, 2026, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan revealed that nearly 97% of the 900 promises made in the 2021 election manifesto have been fulfilled or are in advanced stages of implementation, according to the Left Democratic Front's (LDF) 10-year progress report. The report highlights significant achievements, including the completion of 5 lakh houses under the LIFE Mission and the resolution of long-standing land issues for 456,689 families. Kerala became the first state in India to lift 64,006 families out of extreme poverty, a notable milestone. The government also enacted the One House Protection Law to safeguard homes of economically weaker families and provides monthly assistance of ₹1,000 to over 16 lakh homemakers. The Chief Minister emphasized that Kerala ranks fifth in the NITI Aayog Ease of Doing Business index, reflecting a favorable industrial climate.
