Similarly, silver prices dropped by ₹4,912 or 2.01%, now priced at ₹2,38,362 per kilogram, down from ₹2,43,274. The declines were attributed to stalled ceasefire negotiations between the US and Iran, which contributed to market instability. Additionally, a stronger US dollar and inflation concerns stemming from rising crude oil prices dampened investor sentiment and expectations of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve. In major Indian cities, gold rates for 24 kt varied, with Delhi at ₹1,51,380, Mumbai at ₹1,51,640, and Chennai at ₹1,52,090. Silver rates also varied, with Delhi pricing at ₹2,383 for 10 grams and ₹2,38,340 for 1 kilogram.
