He cited feedback from voters indicating a shift in sentiment, predicting that Congress will secure 72-73 seats in the 126-seat assembly. Kharge highlighted serious allegations against Sarma, including accusations of land acquisition and financial misconduct, and called for an investigation into these claims. He outlined Congress's electoral promises, which include a monthly cash transfer to women and a one-time grant of ₹50,000 (approximately $600 USD) to help them start businesses. Additionally, he dismissed BJP's allegations of Congress being pro-Muslim and emphasized the party's commitment to national interests. Kharge reassured voters that welfare schemes would continue regardless of electoral outcomes.
