Despite a minor dip in outbound travel from India, many are opting for alternative destinations like Mauritius. Interestingly, while budget travel has declined, luxury travel is thriving, as evidenced by a 166% increase in private jet arrivals. Resorts are responding to the downturn by slashing prices, making the Maldives more affordable for those willing to travel during this period.
