The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has formally requested a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) for a significant infrastructure project worth ₹923 crore (approximately $111 million USD). The project involves constructing a four-lane underground underpass and a trumpet interchange on GMDA land along the Dwarka Expressway (NH-248BB). This initiative is designed to enhance connectivity between the Global City project, which spans 1,000 acres, and the upcoming Vision City in Sector 88, a 121-acre commercial hub focused on jewellery, gem, and furniture industries. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will oversee the project execution, with HSIIDC covering the costs. A senior NHAI official confirmed that precast reinforced cement concrete (RCC) box structures will be utilized, employing the box-pushing technique. HSIIDC's proposal was approved by its Board Director during a meeting on September 30, 2025.
