Bella Shim, a Glenview native and 2022 graduate of Glenbrook South High School, has been appointed as the student speaker for the 2026 BBA Graduation Celebration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Wisconsin School of Business highlighted Shim's significant contributions through her leadership roles in the Real Estate Club, Women in Business, and the UW Club Gymnastics Team. These positions reflect her dedication to collaboration and mentorship among her peers. Following graduation, Shim will start her career as an acquisitions analyst at Blue Vista Capital Management in Chicago. In her upcoming commencement address, she plans to discuss the shared experiences that have shaped her class and emphasize the importance of community support and leadership as graduates transition into their future endeavors. Shim expressed gratitude to her parents and mentors for their encouragement throughout her academic journey.
