The scammer then produced a fake transaction screenshot, convincing Shivaprakash that the transfer was successful. However, upon contacting his brother, he discovered no money had been received. The police have registered a case involving charges of forgery and criminal intimidation, and they are currently analyzing CCTV footage to locate the suspect.
