During its second meeting, the Pune Parivartan committee, led by Pune municipal commissioner Naval Kishore Ram and district collector Jitendra Dudi, emphasized the urgency of land acquisition and the development of missing road links in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The committee discussed 12 critical road connections, including the Baner-Pashan link road and the Wakad to Kaspate Vasti road. They aim to address obstacles in land acquisition within the next year. The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) presented plans to relocate electrical feeders on 32 major roads. The committee also mandated the construction of roads in newly merged villages, ensuring they are equipped with essential infrastructure. Police officer Manor Patil confirmed that the police department will issue no-objection certificates for road-digging, while Dudi called for prioritizing the survey of government lands.
