A group of Congress MLAs from Karnataka has arrived in New Delhi to meet with the party's high command, advocating for a cabinet reshuffle. The delegation includes prominent figures such as T.B. Jayachandra, S.N. Narayanaswamy, and K. Shadakshari. Jayachandra described the visit as a routine political engagement focused on organizational issues, emphasizing that there is no leadership crisis within the state unit. The MLAs aim to discuss their demand for ministerial representation and a reshuffle, which they believe is overdue as the government has only two years left in its term. Multiple-term MLAs are particularly vocal about this demand, citing previous assurances from party leaders that a reshuffle would occur after 2.5 years. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has acknowledged the desire for reshuffling, indicating that there is nothing wrong with party leaders seeking ministerial positions.
