In Ludhiana, Punjab, police have arrested two men, Gurpreet Singh from village Khasi Kalan and Vansh Verma from GK Estate, Bhamian, following a failed armed robbery attempt on April 2. The suspects targeted Mohammad Anjar Alam, the owner of a money transfer shop in the New Madhopuri area, who was operating alone at the time. During the robbery attempt, one of the assailants fired at Alam, injuring him in the arm, while another victim was attacked with a sharp weapon. The duo fled the scene but dropped the bag containing cash after Alam defended himself with a stick. Police identified the suspects through CCTV footage and arrested them on Saturday.
