HDFC Bank has revamped its Regalia Gold Credit Card, introducing several changes effective from July 1, 2026. Cardholders will now need to spend ₹60,000 in the previous quarter to qualify for three complimentary domestic airport lounge visits. Additionally, the reward structure will shift from earning four reward points for every ₹150 spent to five points for every ₹200 spent, which may devalue rewards for smaller transactions. The dynamic currency conversion markup will rise from 1% to 1.75%, and a new ₹199 fee will apply for card reissuance. On a positive note, the new Boarding Edge Program allows cardholders to access complimentary benefits such as hotel upgrades, buffet meals, spa sessions, and airport transfers by uploading their boarding passes. While some changes may enhance the cardholder experience, others, like increased fees and stricter access criteria, could diminish overall value.
