Yash Sahu, the son of Kanhaiya Lal Sahu, who was brutally murdered in Udaipur, Rajasthan in June 2022, has voiced his anguish over the delay in justice for his father. He criticized the Rajasthan government for not establishing a fast-track court despite clear video evidence against the accused, Mohammad Riyaz and Ghouse Mohammad, who killed his father over a social media post supporting a BJP spokesperson. Yash shared a video clip of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who had previously stated that the responsibility for forming a special court lies with the Rajasthan government. He urged the government to expedite the judicial process so that the culprits can receive the death penalty. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot responded by accusing the BJP of using the case for political gain, stating that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has not adequately progressed in the case, failing to record testimonies from many witnesses. The ongoing delay has left the family feeling abandoned and without justice, prompting Yash to call on the public to demand accountability from the government.
