Modi recalled the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act in April 2023, which received unanimous support from political parties and aims for implementation by 2029. He urged women to actively engage in the legislative process and share their views with Members of Parliament, stressing that this initiative will further social justice and strengthen democracy. Modi also recognized the role of women in local governance through the Panchayati Raj system, which has established a 33% quota for women in local bodies.
