Raghav Chadha, a Member of Parliament representing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has publicly defended himself against accusations from party leaders that he has not raised issues related to Punjab in Parliament. In a post on X, he stated that Punjab is not merely a topic for discussion but is integral to his identity, describing it as his 'duty, soil, and soul.' Following his recent removal from the position of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, Chadha highlighted several key issues he has raised, including advocating for the Nankana Sahib corridor, legal guarantees for farmers' Minimum Support Price (MSP), and addressing the vanishing groundwater crisis in Punjab. He criticized the party's leadership for what he termed a 'coordinated attack' against him, claiming that the allegations were part of a scripted campaign aimed at undermining his credibility. Chadha's remarks come amidst escalating tensions within the AAP, where he has faced backlash from colleagues who have accused him of being compromised and fearful of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
