Raghav Chadha, a Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has responded to allegations from his party colleagues regarding his failure to raise Punjab's issues in Parliament. In a video posted on social media, he showcased clips of his speeches that addressed significant Punjab-centric topics, including the demand for a Nankana Sahib corridor and legal guarantees for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers. Chadha emphasized that Punjab is deeply personal to him, stating, 'It is my home, my duty, my soil, my soul.' His rebuttal comes after he was removed from his leadership position within AAP, following strained relations with party leaders, including national convener Arvind Kejriwal. Chadha has claimed that he is being targeted in a 'scripted campaign' by AAP leaders, who have accused him of neglecting Punjab's concerns. Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema criticized Chadha for not representing the state's issues effectively, while senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj suggested that Chadha has altered his public persona to align with party leadership. Chadha has been a prominent figure in AAP since its formation, having taken on various roles including national spokesperson and treasurer.
