A 17-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times in Seemapuri, a neighborhood in northeast Delhi, by a 24-year-old man identified as her stalker. The incident occurred on Friday, and the girl is currently in critical condition at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. According to police reports, the suspect had been harassing the victim for some time. Following the stabbing, the suspect allegedly committed suicide by triggering an LPG cylinder blast at his home, where he was alone. Police received a call around 5:33 PM reporting the stabbing, and upon arrival, they found that the girl had already been taken to the hospital. The suspect's body was later found at his residence, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing. The police have registered a case under Section 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
