However, actor Vikramm Bhambri, who plays Shakeel Commando, expressed his disappointment over significant cuts to his scenes in the film. In an interview with The Times of India, he shared that while he felt grateful to be part of such a big production, the reduction in his screen time was disheartening. He reflected on how many of his scenes were removed, leading to feelings of sadness upon watching the film with his parents. Despite this, an uplifting encounter with a delivery person who recognized him from the film helped Bhambri regain his spirits. He decided to focus on the opportunity of being part of a successful project rather than dwell on the cuts. Dhurandhar 2 features a star-studded cast, including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt.
