PDS, a global fashion infrastructure platform, experienced a 6.10% increase in its share price, reaching ₹307, after securing a strategic sourcing mandate worth ₹450 crore (approximately $54 million) from a leading US-based value retailer. This agreement, part of a Sourcing-as-a-Service (SaaS) contract, will provide comprehensive sourcing support through PDS's subsidiary, GSCL, which is led by Michael Yee. The US retailer, which operates in both urban and rural markets, offers a wide range of everyday essentials and apparel at competitive prices. Pallak Seth, Executive Vice Chairman of PDS, highlighted the partnership as a reflection of the company's resilience amid macroeconomic challenges. Despite this positive development, PDS reported a 29.2% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹19.62 crore for Q3 FY26, even as net sales rose by 1.5% to ₹3,172.46 crore compared to Q3 FY25.
