The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced a revised schedule for the 2026 UP Polytechnic entrance examination. The exam will now take place from June 2 to June 9, 2026, in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, a change from the previously scheduled dates of May 15 to May 22. In addition to the new exam dates, the council has extended the application deadline to May 17, 2026, giving candidates additional time to apply for various diploma and post-diploma programs offered by polytechnic institutes in Uttar Pradesh. The JEECUP serves as a crucial entrance examination for admissions into engineering, technology, pharmacy, and management courses in government and private polytechnic colleges affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (BTEUP). The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts across designated centres in Uttar Pradesh and other selected cities. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, for updates on admit cards and examination details. The council plans to release the admit cards shortly before the exam, and candidates will be able to download them using their application number and password. The paper pattern and syllabus will remain unchanged despite the revised schedule.
