This property, which includes a double-storey residential house and about four marlas of land, was acquired using proceeds from illicit drug sales. The attachment was conducted under Section 68F(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, following confirmation from the Competent Authority under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act. In a separate case, police seized another residential property and land worth approximately ₹50 lakh from Shafiq Ahmad Khawaja, a resident of Dildar Karnah in Kupwara district. Both actions were carried out after establishing that these properties were obtained through drug trafficking proceeds, reinforcing the ongoing efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.
