The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board announced the Karnataka PUC 2 Results for 2026 on April 9, 2026, revealing an overall pass percentage of 86.48% for Class 12 students. In the Commerce stream, the pass percentage was 88.04%, with 2,07,085 candidates appearing for the exam, of which 1,82,317 passed. Among the top achievers, Sai Chakresh M N ranked 8th, scoring 592 out of 600 (98.67%). In an interview, he shared insights into his preparation strategy, stating he began studying seriously from day one and found computer science particularly challenging due to updates in Python. He followed a fixed timetable and relied on textbooks and previous year question papers, avoiding online platforms. To manage distractions, he stayed at Deeksha hostel, where phone usage was restricted. Sai advised future students to cover their syllabus systematically and create concise notes to reduce exam stress. Looking ahead, he is considering pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
