On Thursday, Pema Khandu (Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh) reaffirmed the state government's dedication to enhancing education and healthcare sectors during the inauguration of three new facilities at Dera Natung Government College in Itanagar. The new infrastructure includes an administrative block, a badminton and judo hall, and a recreation hall. Khandu paid tribute to former education minister Dera Natung and praised the college for its strong academic performance, with over 4,600 students enrolled across various streams. He urged students to engage in skill-based education and become job creators, highlighting government initiatives such as scholarships for those attending top global universities and the establishment of two science centers in Namsai and Dirang to promote scientific learning. Khandu emphasized the importance of sports in developing discipline and leadership skills and outlined various government programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the state.
