Significant rainfall is forecasted for southern and eastern districts on May 6, affecting areas such as Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, and Nalgonda, with thunderstorms and gusty winds of 30-40 km/h. Rain activity is expected to expand to Hyderabad and surrounding regions from May 7 to May 9, with additional rainfall anticipated in districts like Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Suryapet. Following this period, conditions are expected to dry up after May 10. A similar weather pattern is predicted for neighboring Andhra Pradesh, where thunderstorms and rainfall are likely in the North Coastal and Rayalaseema regions. Weather experts also indicate that a low-pressure system may form over the southwest Bay of Bengal around May 11 or 12, potentially leading to heavier rainfall across South India, including states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
