In New London, Connecticut, a 6-year-old child was found safe inside a stolen vehicle late Saturday night. Police received a report of a disturbance at 268 Bank Street and discovered that a vehicle containing the child had been stolen. Thanks to public safety cameras, officers quickly located the abandoned vehicle on Jay Street, where the child was unharmed. Sean Quintero, 38, from Norwich, was arrested and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, risk of injury to a child, and first-degree reckless endangerment. Police Chief Brian Wright acknowledged the rapid response of officers and dispatch personnel, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation involving the child's safety.
