FPT Corporation, a prominent Vietnamese technology firm, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sembcorp Development, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, to explore collaborative opportunities in artificial intelligence (AI), digital infrastructure, and sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This partnership leverages FPT's expertise in AI and digital transformation alongside Sembcorp's experience in energy and sustainable urban solutions. Key focus areas include the development of AI-enabled applications for energy and urban infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency through smart operations, predictive maintenance, and data analytics. The companies also plan to evaluate the creation of energy-efficient data centres and cloud ecosystems. Additionally, the collaboration aims to address urban sustainability and renewable energy challenges by leveraging technology for smart city planning and carbon management. To facilitate these goals, FPT and Sembcorp will organize joint workshops and training sessions to foster collaboration among their teams. This initiative represents a significant step towards integrating advanced technology into sustainable development efforts in Vietnam, Singapore, and the broader APAC region.
