The Rajasthan Police Special Operations Group (SOG) has detained 15 individuals in connection with the alleged leak of the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper. Among those detained is Manish, identified as the mastermind from Jaipur. Investigations suggest that the leaked question bank may have originated from Sikar district, which has become a central focus of the inquiry. Allegations surfaced that a 'guess paper' containing approximately 410 questions circulated among students prior to the exam, with 120 questions reportedly appearing in the Chemistry section. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has maintained that the exam was conducted under strict security protocols, including GPS tracking for question paper transport and AI-assisted CCTV surveillance at examination centers. Political leaders, including Congress's Rahul Gandhi, have criticized the examination process, alleging that it has become chaotic and disorganized under the current government. The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover the full extent of the alleged malpractice and its geographical spread.
