The Nashik Court in Maharashtra, India, has rejected the anticipatory bail application of Nida Khan, who is one of eight accused in a sexual harassment and forced conversion case linked to the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) BPO unit in Nashik. The court will revisit her plea on April 27. Khan's lawyer sought temporary relief, but the court opted against issuing any interim order at this stage. The complainant’s lawyer requested additional time to file a written reply, which was granted until the next hearing date. Khan, previously the HR head at TCS Nashik, is currently in hiding after being suspended from her position. Her family insists that the allegations are unfounded and part of a larger conspiracy, especially in light of a recent controversy involving a local godman arrested for rape. The ongoing investigation involves nine complaints of harassment filed by eight female employees, covering incidents from February 2022 to March 2026. A special investigation team has been formed, and seven other individuals have already been arrested in connection with the case.
