Blue Blocks Montessori School, located in Tellapur, Hyderabad, will be the sole Indian representative at the 30th International AMI Montessori Congress in Merida, Mexico, from May 1-4, 2026. Co-founders Pavan Goyal and Munira Hussain will present a workshop titled 'Montessori and Innovation: A Design Thinking Workshop for a Changing World' on May 3, focusing on how Montessori pedagogy fosters innovation among students. The session will incorporate hands-on activities, encouraging both educators and students to engage collaboratively.

The school is notable for its student-built SBB-1 satellite, which received formal authorization from the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre. Despite the satellite's loss during a launch anomaly, Blue Blocks views this as a learning opportunity rather than a failure. They will also announce the development of SBB-2, the next generation of student-designed satellite payloads, emphasizing the importance of real-world engineering experience for students. Blue Blocks Montessori School, established in 2005, offers a comprehensive Montessori education from birth to age 18, with a strong emphasis on research and innovation in education.
