This appeal comes after Heyward's earlier comments in March 2025, where he suggested that Rodgers needed to decide if he wanted to be part of the Steelers. Despite those remarks, Heyward has since built a strong rapport with Rodgers, who played for the Steelers last season. As the Steelers continue to strengthen their roster under a new coaching staff, Heyward hopes to see Rodgers back in Pittsburgh soon.
