Frank Musoke, a former financial manager based in Beverly Hills, California, has been accused by federal authorities of stealing over $2 million from a celebrity client, reportedly Nick Cannon, known for his work on shows like *The Masked Singer* and *Wild 'N Out*. Prosecutors allege that Musoke misused his access to sensitive financial information, withdrawing nearly $1.73 million through ATM transactions and spending substantial amounts on personal expenses, including $165,270 on Amazon and $191,543 on travel. After the firm he worked for discovered the missing funds, Musoke was terminated in July 2023. Additionally, he faces charges for filing false federal tax returns and failing to report nearly $1.76 million in stolen income, leading to an eight-count indictment. Authorities believe Musoke may have fled to Uganda, where he holds dual citizenship, and if convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison for each wire fraud charge and up to five years for each tax evasion count.
