Announced at the Intelligent Strategy Launch Event, this initiative is available for new buyers and existing owners upgrading to the latest God’s Eye 5.0 system. The one-year policy covers all economic losses from accidents deemed legally liable while the self-driving feature is in use, indicating BYD's confidence in its technology. With over 3.15 million vehicles equipped with its Intelligent Driving Assistance system and daily logging of over 124 million miles of driving data, BYD is positioning itself as a leader in the EV sector. This isn't the first time the company has offered such coverage; a similar initiative for its smart parking feature led to a dramatic increase in usage. By offering this guarantee, BYD aims to boost consumer confidence and usage of its self-driving technology, distinguishing itself from competitors who have been hesitant to accept liability for accidents involving their systems.
