Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has launched a new duty-free pre-booking service in collaboration with MakeMyTrip, aimed at enhancing the shopping experience for international travelers. This innovative service allows travelers to browse over 14,000 products across 10+ categories and choose from 100+ brands before they even reach the airport. By enabling pre-booking, travelers can lock in exclusive online deals and avoid the stress of last-minute shopping decisions. This initiative is designed to streamline the airport experience, reducing time spent in queues and allowing for better price comparisons. The service is available to eligible international travelers via the MakeMyTrip app and mobile web, with pick-up at AAHL-managed airports, including those in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, and Thiruvananthapuram. Arun Bansal, CEO of AAHL, emphasized that this collaboration is part of their strategy to create a seamless travel experience, while Rajesh Magow, Co-founder and Group CEO of MakeMyTrip, noted that it empowers travelers to plan smarter and save more. The service is beneficial for both outbound travelers and those returning to India, making it easier to manage purchases and avoid carrying excess items during trips.
