Regular servicing of air conditioners before the peak summer season is crucial, as it enhances efficiency and reduces power consumption. Dust and dirt buildup can cause the compressor to work harder, increasing energy use. Maintaining the AC temperature between 24°C and 25°C is also advised, as this setting reduces strain on the appliance. Additionally, using the remote control instead of cutting power directly can prevent damage to internal components. Keeping doors and windows shut while the AC is running and regularly cleaning filters can further improve performance and help manage electricity costs.
