This operation is part of the 100-day 'Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan' launched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on April 11, aimed at combating drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the region. During the operations, police recovered large quantities of contraband, including 1 kilogram and 90 grams of charas-like powder from one suspect, Javid Ahmad Bhat, in Anantnag, and approximately 40.86 grams from two individuals in Awantipora.
