Under the leadership of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Health Minister Praful Pansheriya, Ahmedabad Civil Hospital has successfully performed a rare and complex surgery on a 12-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh, Suresh Yadav. The boy suffered severe genital injuries from a dog attack when he was just 25 days old, which led to significant health issues including difficulty in urination and abnormal genital development. After years of seeking help, the family turned to Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, where a thorough examination revealed critical issues with the child's genital organs. On May 6, a complex genital reconstructive surgery was performed by a skilled medical team, restoring normal function. Following 14 days of close medical supervision, the catheter was removed, allowing the boy to urinate normally and painlessly. His father expressed immense gratitude to the government and the medical staff for their support and care, emphasizing the importance of Gujarat's healthcare initiatives that provide such complex treatments at no cost to patients.
