The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has initiated the UP Police Constable Exam 2026, which began on June 8 and will continue until June 10 across 1,183 exam centers in Uttar Pradesh. This examination aims to fill 32,679 constable vacancies and is expected to see participation from over 28.8 lakh candidates. To ensure a fair examination process, the authorities have implemented stringent security measures, including biometric verification and live CCTV monitoring at all exam locations. Candidates must complete an e-KYC face match before entering the exam venues, and strict guidelines prohibit the use of electronic devices such as phones and smartwatches. To facilitate candidate travel, special trains have been arranged, and a 50% bus fare discount is offered on ordinary Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses. These measures are designed to prevent cheating and ensure a smooth examination process.
