The National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) has initiated the application process for its 2026 internship programme via the NCST Grievance Redressal and Management System (NCSTGRAMS) portal. Interested candidates can apply until June 18 at 5 pm. The programme aims to select approximately 10 students who will be assigned to either the Headquarters or Regional Offices based on administrative needs. Interns will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 upon achieving a 90% attendance rate during their one-month internship. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 60% in prior examinations or being in the second year of graduation. The NCST may grant exceptions to these criteria in special cases. To apply, candidates must visit the official website, complete the application form, and upload necessary documents, including a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and, if applicable, a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Applications will be assessed based on academic performance and the authenticity of the SOP, followed by interviews for shortlisted candidates.
