On May 22, 2026, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in a bhoomi puja ceremony at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta, marking the beginning of significant development projects valued at ₹99.55 crore. The Chief Minister, alongside Shankar Vijayendra Saraswati, the pontiff of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, laid the foundation stone for a Veda Pathashala, which will be constructed at a cost of ₹43.80 crore. Additionally, he inaugurated a Nitya Kalyana Mandapam on the hilltop, estimated to cost ₹9.87 crore. Other projects include a roofed pathway for the steps leading from Vaikuntha Dwaram to the hilltop, costing ₹1.41 crore, and the construction of steps towards Mada Veedhi near the Rathashala for ₹1.35 crore. Furthermore, the foundation stones for dormitory halls and a Deeksha Parula Sadanam, aimed at enhancing facilities for devotees, were laid at a total cost of ₹43.12 crore. The ceremony was attended by various public representatives, spiritual leaders, and senior officials, highlighting the community's commitment to enhancing the temple's infrastructure and spiritual significance.
