With the FIFA World Cup set to take place in Kansas City, significant street closures have been announced around the FIFA Fan Fest, which will be held at the National World War I Museum and Memorial from June 11 to July 11. The festival, expected to accommodate up to 25,000 fans, aims to enhance the experience for attendees while also supporting the ConnectKC26 Bus Mall, designed to facilitate transport to Arrowhead Stadium on match days. Key road closures include a portion of Main Street between Pershing Road and Grand Boulevard, which will be closed two hours before and after the festival ends. Additionally, Grand Boulevard has been closed since May 12 and will remain closed until July 25 for setup and removal activities. Other restricted areas include Kessler Road and Memorial Drive starting south of the Pershing Lofts, and lane closures on Wyandotte Street and West Pershing Road during the event. Despite these closures, access to parking garages north of East 26th Street will remain available, and the ConnectKC bus service will operate from East 27th Street and Main Street to assist fans during the tournament.
