Bharat Seats, a manufacturer of complete seating systems for the automotive sector, reported a 16.43% increase in standalone net profit to ₹13.25 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026 (Q4 FY26), compared to ₹11.38 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q4 FY25). Revenue from operations saw a remarkable increase of 46.15%, reaching ₹574.27 crore in Q4 FY26, up from ₹392.91 crore in Q4 FY25. Profit before tax also rose by 22.33% to ₹18.51 crore. However, total expenses increased significantly by 46.76% to ₹556.33 crore during the quarter. The rise in costs was attributed to higher material consumption, employee benefits, and finance costs. The company's board has approved a capital expenditure of approximately ₹86.61 crore for new projects with Maruti Suzuki India at its plants in Kharkhoda and Gujarat. Additionally, a dividend of 75% (equivalent to ₹1.50 per equity share) has been recommended for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, pending shareholder approval, with a record date set for July 17, 2026.
