On the morning of May 10, 2026, nine ministers from the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) are set to take their oaths alongside Chief Minister-designate C. Joseph Vijay, who won from Perambur and Tiruchi East constituencies. The list of ministers submitted to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar includes N. Anand (T. Nagar), Aadhav Arjuna (Villivakkam), K.G. Arunraj (Tiruchengodu), K.A. Sengottaiyan (Gobichettypalayam), P. Venkataramanan (Mylapore), C.T.R. Nirmalkumar (Thirupparankundram), A. Rajmohan (Egmore), T.K. Prabhu (Karaikudi), and S. Keerthana (Sivakasi). The new cabinet will ensure representation from Chennai with five ministers, two from the western belt, and three from the south. Additionally, there will be one representative each for women and Scheduled Castes. The specific portfolios for the ministers are expected to be announced soon.
