BJP leader Anurag Thakur criticized the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government for its alleged focus on luxury instead of the needs of the common citizen. Thakur also noted the state's significant financial instability, citing a ₹2,000 crore liability related to the Bhanupali-Bilaspur rail line, which raises concerns about funding for future infrastructure projects. Additionally, he participated in a tree plantation initiative, stressing the urgency of environmental action in light of global climate issues. He defended the BJP's electoral performance, asserting that the party's ideology resonated with voters, leading to a two-thirds majority in specific regions, while criticizing Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's remarks about election candidates.
