Schaeffler India has launched a computational research infrastructure at the Foundation for Science Innovation and Development (FSID) in Bengaluru, aimed at enhancing research capabilities through high-performance computing (HPC). This facility will enable large-scale simulations and data-intensive modeling across various fields, including materials science and sustainable mobility. By improving computational efficiency, the initiative is expected to strengthen research quality and foster collaborations between industry and academia. The facility will directly benefit faculty members of the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), FSID-incubated startups, and industry partners involved in research and development (R&D) collaborations. Additionally, it will support PhD scholars, postgraduate and undergraduate students, and postdoctoral researchers. Schaeffler India has also signed a Master Research Agreement with IISC to lay the groundwork for multiple future research projects, further solidifying its commitment to collaborative innovation.
