Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is celebrating as it emerges as the single-largest party in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, leading in 105 of the 234 seats. Enthusiastic supporters gathered outside the party headquarters in Chennai, celebrating with flags and sweets. The latest data from the Election Commission of India indicates that TVK chief Vijay is leading in the Tiruchirappalli East constituency by a margin of 6,499 votes. The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is currently leading in 64 seats, while the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) follows with 44. Other parties, including the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), Indian National Congress (INC), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), are trailing with 4, 5, and 3 seats, respectively. As counting continues, the political dynamics in Tamil Nadu may shift significantly depending on the final results.
