In a bid to prepare a skilled workforce for Viksit Bharat 2047, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated several initiatives in Mumbai, including the L'Oreal Training Centre and the Apna AI-enabled Placement Centre. These programs aim to enhance the employability of young Indians by equipping them with industry-relevant skills and utilizing artificial intelligence to assist job seekers in identifying career pathways and improving interview readiness. Goyal emphasized the importance of technology, talent, and skilled human capital in driving India's growth, noting that the country remains the fastest-growing major economy. He announced plans to set up six additional skill development centres and an Artificial Intelligence Innovation Hub to further support youth in acquiring future-ready skills. Goyal also highlighted the significance of foreign language training, particularly Japanese, to boost international career opportunities for Indian professionals. He expressed confidence in the potential of India's youth to lead the nation towards a prosperous future by 2047.
