Early Saturday morning, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services responded to a significant residential fire in the 100 block of Third Line East, Ontario, shortly before 5 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames emanating from the residential home, a detached garage, and a vehicle in the driveway. Fire crews worked for several hours to contain the blaze, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were on-site as a precautionary measure.
